Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Office and databases.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
• Office administrative management experience, preferably in a medical/dental/therapy office.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid preferred.
• Insurance verification experience.

Aufgaben

• Provide administrative front desk support by answering phones, taking messages, routing calls, or notifying appropriate individuals.
• Greet and direct visitors.
• Assist with scheduling or modifying patient appointments.
• Ensure customers receive excellent service and concerns are resolved.
• Communicate with patients regarding scheduling, financial responsibility, and documentation.
• Obtain medical documentation from physicians and facilities as applicable.
• Assist in securing insurance authorizations for patient cases.
• Create patient account profiles in the Medical Record system.
• Perform light shipping and receiving of medical device products.
• Maintain a clean office environment.
• Accept cash payments from patients.
• Comply with HIPAA and corporate compliance.
• Provide coverage in other local offices if necessary.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
