Job summary

Ottobock SE & Co. KGaA, through Ottobock.care, seeks a Patient Care Coordinator at our Sumter, SC location.

You will greet patients, manage scheduling, and ensure smooth documentation to help people move through life with confidence and independence. As PCC you will support front desk operations, coordinate communications for appointments and insurance, maintain records, and contribute to a high-quality patient experience for diverse communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of medical/office admin experience.
• Experience with medical terminology preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide admin front desk support: phones, messages, schedules, records.
• Coordinate patient communications for scheduling and reminders.
• Manage Work in Process (WIP) with clinicians and document in OPIE.
• Secure insurance authorizations and financial documentation.
• Maintain clean office and manage shipping/receiving as needed.
• Update job knowledge through continued learning and publications.
• Create and maintain reporting; ensure exceptional service and resolve concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
