Job summary

Owensboro Health Medical Group is seeking a clinic intermediary to support patient access in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Owensboro department. You will perform registrations, scheduling, and patient follow-ups, while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. You will assist with intake, vitals, and coordination under supervision.

The role emphasizes professionalism, data integrity, and responsive patient service in a busy outpatient setting. Prior health care exposure is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• ABR-OE credential required within 120 days of obtaining 24 months of experience in a health care facility.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and reschedule appointments and tests.
• Collect and record vital signs.
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Assist with patient registrations and check-out processes.
• Enter data into computer systems and verify accuracy.
• Maintain examination areas and medical supplies.
