Associated Retinal Consultants seeks a Medical Receptionist (Patient Coordinator) in Traverse City, MI. This full-time role is the first point of contact for patients, handling check-in/out, appointment flow, and billing interactions to ensure a smooth visit.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of related experience or training.
• Ability to interact with all levels of staff professionally.
• Desire to gain industry knowledge and training.
• Demonstrates initiative in achieving practice goals.
• Ability to grow, adapt and accept change.
• Willingness to work over 40 hours when needed.

Aufgaben

• Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone).
• Answer phones (external and internal) with prompt, courteous service.
• Practice urgency with patients’ time and Doctor’s schedule.
• Manage patient flow in the office.
• Knowledge of common visit fees and collect correct payments.
• Complete daily reconciliations / close day / countdown cash drawer.
• General office duties and cleaning as assigned by manager.
