Associated Retinal Consultants PC in Livonia, MI is seeking a Patient Coordinator / Medical Receptionist to join the team full-time with benefits. The role focuses on being the first point of contact for patients and ensuring a smooth check-in/out experience through excellent patient care.

The position requires professional interaction, phone duties, scheduling, handling payments, and performing general office tasks as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone).
• Answer phones (both external and internal); assure prompt, courteous service at all times
• Practice urgency at all times with patients’ time, as well as Doctor’s time and schedule
• Manage patient flow in the office
• Knowledge of common fees charged for common visitsand collect correct payments
• Complete daily reconciliations / close day / countdown cash drawer
• General office duties and cleaning to be assigned by manager
