Qualifications

• Graduate of certified medical assistant program.
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year of medical assistant experience in a healthcare setting required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule new patients and follow-up clinic appointments.
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations and diagnostic tests.
• Verify insurance and reconcile billing issues.
• Maintain patient records and triage phone calls across multiple lines.
• Interact professionally with patients, families and other departments.
