Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center in Seattle is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator II MA-C to support and coordinate clinic scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks across multiple care services.

You will schedule new patients, follow-up visits, treatments, and tests, verify insurance, obtain referrals and authorizations, maintain patient records, and assist with billing reconciliation while triaging a high-volume phone line.

Qualifications

• Graduate of certified medical assistant program.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 1 year Medical assistant experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedule new patients, follow-up clinic appointments and treatments.
• Coordinate diagnostic tests and referrals for patient care.
• Verify insurance and obtain authorizations as needed.
• Prepare and maintain patient records and reconcile billing issues.
• Answer multiple phone lines and triage inquiries.
