Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator II licensed to support clinic coordination across multiple campuses. You will plan and execute scheduling for new patients, follow-ups, and diagnostics while handling insurance verifications, referrals, and authorizations.

The role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and compassionate patient care—especially for cancer patients—across a large, multi-site health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of certified medical assistant program.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification required at hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient services across multiple clinics.
• Schedule new patients and follow-up appointments.
• Obtain insurance verifications, referrals and authorizations.
• Prepare and maintain patient medical records and reconcile billing issues.
• Answer multiple phone lines and triage calls with empathy and efficiency.
