Job summary

Providence Swedish First Hill in Seattle is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator II MA-C to support hospital clinic coordination and perform clerical duties across patient care services. You will schedule new patients, follow-up appointments, tests, and obtain insurance verifications and referrals.

The role requires a certified medical assistant, WA MA certification at hire, and BLS. Expect a collaborative team environment with the aim of delivering patient-focused, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of certified medical assistant program.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 1 year Medical assistant experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedule new patients and follow-up clinic appointments.
• Coordinate referrals and authorizations as requested.
• Prepare and maintain patient medical records.
• Reconcile billing issues and manage multiple phone lines.
• Triages phone calls and directs inquiries to the appropriate team.
