BenchMark Physical Therapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, invites applications for a Patient Care Coordinator I in Sanford, NC. You will support clinic growth, manage patient intake, and collaborate with the Clinic Director to ensure smooth daily operations.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, effective multitasking across systems, and a commitment to welcoming patients while handling routine administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Communication skills – must relate well to Business Office and Field leadership.
• Ability to multitask, organizational detail, meet deadlines, and work with little to no supervision.
• As a member of a team, must possess efficient time management and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets everyone who enters the clinic in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Schedules new referrals received by fax or by telephone from patients, physician offices.
• Verifies insurance coverage for patients.
• Collects patient payments.
• Maintains an orderly and organized front office workspace.
• Other duties as assigned.
