Job summary

Highbar Physical Therapy is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing outpatient practice in New England. The PCC greets patients, schedules appointments, collects co-pays, relays insurance benefit information, and provides authorization details to patients.

The PCC performs tasks to relieve clinical staff of administrative and clerical duties. As a member of the clinical team, you will manage patient flow, verify insurance details, document payments, and support therapists with

Qualifications

• Two to three years of related experience and/or training.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients, directs patients, vendors and visitors of the clinic.
• Schedules appointments and manages calendar for therapists.
• Collects co-pays and documents payment transactions.
• Relays insurance benefit information and provides authorization details to patients.
• Maintains patient charts and ensures paperwork for first appointment is complete.
• Assists therapists with administrative tasks and communicates with medical offices as needed.
