Job summary

Highbar Physical Therapy is growing and seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our outpatient team. The PCC greets patients, schedules appointments, collects co-pays, and relays insurance benefit information to patients. You will also provide authorization details and support administrative tasks to free up clinicians.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and an associate degree in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two to three years of related experience and/or training.
• Associate degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients, schedules appointments, and collects co-pays.
• Relays insurance benefit information and provides authorization details.
• Performs tasks to relieve clinical staff of administrative duties.
• Answers multi-line phone system and collects patient demographic and insurance data.
• Maintains patient charts and records for first appointment.
• Documents conversations and coordinates with therapists.
