Job summary

Highbar Physical Therapy is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to join our clinical team and enhance patient experiences across our New England locations. The PCC will greet patients, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, relay insurance benefits, and provide authorization details while relieving clinical staff of administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two to three years of related experience and/or training.
• Associate degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and directs patients, vendors and visitors.
• Schedules appointments and manages calendars.
• Collects co-pays and documents payments.
• Relays insurance benefit information and provides authorization details to patients.
• Assists with administrative duties to relieve clinical staff.
• Manages patient charts for first appointment.
• Answers multi-line telephone system and collects patient demographics.
