Job summary

Rocky Mountain Endodontics - Boise is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator in Boise, ID. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, manage inquiries, verify insurance, and review billing details to ensure smooth care delivery.

The role supports doctors and staff in a collaborative environment with HIPAA compliance and accurate record-keeping. The schedule is Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Two years of dental front-office or patient care coordination experience.
• Proficient with dental insurance processing and CDT coding knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to verify insurance benefits and manage billing inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Schedule and manage patient appointments
• Handle patient inquiries regarding services, insurance, and billing
• Verify and process patients’ dental insurance
• Review treatment plans, insurance, and out-of-pocket costs with patients
• Collect patients’ co-insurance at time of service and after service when necessary
• Enter patient information accurately into practice management software
• Coordinate appointments and dental record transfers with referring practices
• Maintain a clean and organized reception and waiting area
• Collaborate with clinical staff and doctors to ensure seamless patient care
• Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility as needed
• Submit and monitor dental insurance claims for prompt reimbursement
• Review outstanding insurance claims and follow up with insurance carriers to resolve delays, denials, and payment discrepancies
• Post insurance payments and patient payments accurately and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, insurance regulations, and office policies
