Patient Care Coordinator / Front Desk Check-In

SWICFT Cardiology, located in downtown Naples, is actively seeking a Patient Care Coordinator/Check-out for a busy cardiology practice. Looking for a candidate with a specific skill set to work closely with patients in a concierge level care setting.

Responsibilities
  • Answer patient calls efficiently ensuring patients are able to speak with a team member throughout the day in a timely, polite, and professional manner.
  • Communicate with patients in a courteous, professional, cooperative, and mature manner.
  • Accurately take messages and convey information to physician, medical assistant or patient.
  • Coordinate testing/patient appointments within office and/or with outside imaging centers if needed.
  • Schedule and reschedule appointments as needed.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to urgent situations.
  • Collect and input insurance information in patient charts.
  • Collect payment/co-pays at check in/check out.
  • May be required to perform the duties of other employees in their absence.
Skills / Requirements
  • Proficient computer skills with knowledge of electronic medical records.

  • Previous cardiology or internal medicine experience preferred, but the right candidate can be trained.
