Job summary

Advaita Health in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients, families, and providers. You will handle scheduling, admissions, benefit verifications, and insurance paperwork, while delivering compassionate, confidential support across a fast-paced clinical team.

Collaborating with clinicians and administrative staff, you’ll help patients navigate services, coverage options, and next steps, ensuring high-quality care and smooth operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with EHR systems and telehealth platforms (e.g., RingCentral, Doxy.me).
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to confidentiality.
• Ability to multitask and coordinate care with providers and patients.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and manage patient admissions.
• Verify benefits and handle insurance paperwork.
• Provide front-line support for calls, referrals, and inquiries.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure high-quality patient care.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a Patient Care Coordinator who is detail-oriented, professional, and motivated to support our patients and providers through excellent administrative and care coordination services. This role is the first point of contact for many of our patients, making professionalism, empathy, and clear communication essential.

The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for scheduling, patient admissions, benefit verifications, insurance paperwork, and front-line support for calls, referrals, and inquiries. Just as important, this role works side‑by‑side with our providers to ensure they can deliver the best possible care, while helping patients navigate questions about services, coverage, and next steps.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balances multiple priorities and demonstrates compassion and confidentiality in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding and working knowledge of the psychiatric continuum of care
• Adaptability to changing priorities and patient needs
• Technical proficiency with IT systems (EHR platforms, RingCentral, Doxy.me, etc.)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Effective verbal and written communication to enhance patient care and team coordination
• Self-starter with strong accountability
• Ability to multi‑task across phones, patients, and administrative duties
