Overview

Lakeville Modern Dentistry, a private, non‑corporate practice in Lakeville, MN, is hiring a full‑time Patient Care Coordinator to lead comprehensive treatment plan presentations and build trust‑based relationships with patients.

Responsibilities

• Present comprehensive dentistry treatment plans, including All‑on‑X, full‑mouth rehabilitation, overdentures, smile design, and implant cases.
• Help patients understand the value of their treatment, navigate financing and payment options, and build confidence to invest in their dental health.
• Act as the project manager for each patient’s care journey from diagnosis through completion.
• Coordinate scheduling with the doctor’s calendar and partner with Insurance and Scheduling Coordinators.
• Facilitate specialty referrals and serve as the central communication link between patients, the dentist, and the care team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Dental Patient Care Coordinator, Treatment Coordinator, or similar patient‑facing dental coordination role.
• Exceptional understanding of clinical dentistry, including All‑on‑X, overdentures, full‑mouth rehabilitation, smile design, and implant treatment.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with the ability to break down complex clinical information into clear, patient‑friendly explanations.
• Confidence presenting comprehensive treatment plans and discussing value beyond insurance coverage.
• Empathetic, yet motivated to help patients say yes to investing in their dental health.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple cases at different stages of the patient journey.
• Kind, drama‑free, team‑first attitude.
• Proven track record with comprehensive case presentations and case acceptance.
• Direct experience presenting All‑on‑X, overdentures, and full‑mouth rehabilitation cases.
• Familiarity with smile design and cosmetic case presentation.
• Previous experience in an out‑of‑network or fee‑for‑service dental practice.
• Familiarity with third‑party financing platforms (CareCredit, Proceed Finance, Sunbit).
• Experience with Open Dental practice management software.
