Lakeville Modern Dentistry, a privately owned non‑corporate dental practice in Lakeville, MN, is hiring a full‑time Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) to provide hands‑on clinical support across the full scope of comprehensive dentistry: smile makeovers, full‑mouth rehabilitation, All‑on‑X cases, dental implants, veneers, ClearCorrect and Invisalign, oral surgery, and complex restorative work.

This role is for a Minnesota‑licensed Dental Assistant looking to move beyond routine prophy rooms and develop clinical skills within cases that advance their career. You will capture diagnostic x‑rays and digital scans, anticipate the doctor’s needs chairside, support comprehensive cases in general dentistry, prosthodontics (including All‑on‑X), orthodontics, oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry, and work alongside Dr. Bender in a modern five‑op practice equipped with CBCT, digital scanners, intraoral cameras, smile design software, and Picasso laser.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture diagnostic x‑rays and digital scans.
• Anticipate the dentist’s needs chairside.
• Support comprehensive dental cases across general dentistry, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry.
• Provide chairside assistance during implant placement, All‑on‑X, full‑mouth rehabilitation, and smile design procedures.
• Assist with surgical and restorative instrumentation and patient care.
• Maintain a clean and organized operatory environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Participate in ongoing training and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program.
• Active Minnesota Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) license.
• 1+ year of clinical dental assisting experience preferred; new graduates with strong skills and the right attitude encouraged.
• Sharp diagnostic x‑ray capture and digital scanning skills.
• Strong time‑management and ability to anticipate the dentist’s needs.
• Comforting chairside communication style.
• Ability to work independently and cohesively within a team.
• Genuine interest in continuing education and staying current on dental assisting trends.
• Experience supporting comprehensive cases including All‑on‑X, full‑mouth rehabilitation, implant placement, and smile design.
• Familiarity with CBCT, digital scanners, intraoral cameras, and Picasso laser.
• Familiarity with Open Dental practice management software.
• Experience with ClearCorrect or Invisalign cases.
• Previous experience in a fee‑for‑service or out‑of‑network private dental practice.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: Mon 8:30–4:30, Tue 8–5, Wed 8–5, Thu 7–3.
