Job summary

Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers is seeking a Patient Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients at our Florence, KY clinic. This PRN role supports check-in/out processes and delivers exceptional customer service to ensure a smooth visit.

The candidate will handle phones, insurance authorizations, payments, and daily office duties while maintaining a welcoming, professional environment and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Favorable result on Background Check.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excitement to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone).
• Answer phones (external and internal); assure prompt, courteous service.
• Practice urgency with patient and doctor schedules.
• Double check insurance authorizations and maintain accurate flow sheets.
• Know common fees charged for visits.
• Check out patients and collect payments.
• Manage patient flow in the office.
• Complete daily reconciliations / close day / count cash drawer.
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies.
• Perform general office duties and cleaning as assigned by manager.
