Job summary

Sedona Staffing Services seeks a Patient Care & Financial Coordinator to support patient care, scheduling, insurance verification, and billing across location sites. Pay range is $22-$26/hour, depending on experience, with HIPAA-compliant record keeping and accurate account management.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2+ years in a dental/medical office, strong communication and Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a dental, oral surgery, medical, or healthcare office preferred.
• Familiarity with dental/medical insurance, billing, and coding preferred; training may be provided.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; ability to discuss financial matters professionally.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key point of contact for patients, surgeons, and clinical staff.
• Schedule consultations, procedures, and follow-up appointments across locations.
• Review treatment plans and costs with patients; ensure understanding of recommended care.
• Answer questions regarding procedures, pre/post-operative instructions, and policies.
• Coordinate referrals and maintain referral documentation.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records.
