Mercy is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to support patient care under the direction of the RN or LPN. The role involves teamwork and performing clinical and non-clinical tasks to promote patient wellness.

New hires participate in a 175-hour training program, must obtain BLS within one month, and complete PCA competencies in three months. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CNA/CPTC preferred or enrolled in a healthcare program.
• Experience: None required.
• BLS certification required within one month of hire; PCA competencies within 3 months.
