Job summary

The Valley Hospital in Paramus, NJ is seeking a healthcare technician to provide technical support to physicians and nurses and participate in direct and indirect patient care. You will perform EKGs, finger sticks, phlebotomy, wound care, vital signs, and assist with materials management and crutch fitting.

Responsibilities include applying orthopedic splints, post‑suture dressings, and supporting care across neonatal to geriatric patients. Night shift is available; on‑site work only.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Maintain current CPR card/certification.
• One of the following: hospital experience in a comparable role or active credentialing from approved organizations (AAMA/NCCT/AMT/NAHP/NCMA) in CMA, CNA, PCT, EMT or NJ Home Health Aide.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to physicians and nurses; assist in patient care.
• Perform EKGs, finger stick glucose, phlebotomy, wound care and vital signs.
• Apply orthopedic splints and post‑suture dressings; assist with crutch fitting.
