Job summary

The Valley Hospital in Paramus, NJ, seeks a clinical support professional to assist physicians and nurses. You will perform EKGs, phlebotomy, vitals, wound care, and patient assistance, while managing materials and operating department equipment as directed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and current credentials from AAMA/NCCT/AMT/NAHP/NCMA or active nursing student status with BLS eligibility within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required or current/active credential from Valley-approved organization.
• Valid current CPR card/certification and any required professional credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to physicians and nurses and participate in direct patient care.
• Perform EKGs, finger stick glucose, phlebotomy, wound care, and vitals recording.
• Assist with crutch fitting and orthopedic splinting as directed by staff.
• Manage materials and operate emergency department equipment per policies.
