The Valley Hospital in Paramus is seeking an attentive Medical Assistant to provide technical support to physicians and nurses. You will participate in direct and indirect patient care, perform EKGs, finger sticks, phlebotomy, wound care, and assist with vital signs and materials management.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and CPR certification, with CPR and credentialing options as listed, and prior hospital-based experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required.
• Previous hospital-based care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform EKGs and finger-stick glucose tests.
• Assist with phlebotomy and basic emergency care.
• Record vital signs and assist with patient care.
• Apply splints, wound dressings, and assist with crutch fitting.
• Operate and maintain ER equipment as directed.
