Job summary

The Valley Hospital in Paramus, New Jersey, seeks a clinical support teammate to assist physicians and nurses by performing EKGs, finger-stick glucose, phlebotomy, wound care, vital signs, and more per policy.

You will apply orthopedic splints, assist with suture/dressings, and help with crutch fitting while collaborating with the care team; CPR/credentials or nursing student status required, with hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, CPR current.
• Active credentialing from AAMA/NCCT/AMT/NAHP/NCMA or nursing student with BLS in 90 days.
• Previous phlebotomy/EKG and basic emergency care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform EKGs, finger sticks, phlebotomy and wound care with vitals.
• Assist with patient care and materials management as directed.
• Assist in crutch fitting and post-suture dressings.
