Job summary

The Valley Hospital-Paramus, a Valley Health System facility, seeks a dedicated clinical support professional to assist physicians and nurses in direct and indirect patient care. Responsibilities include performing EKGs, finger-stick glucose, phlebotomy, wound care, vital signs, and materials management in accordance with hospital policies.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and CPR certification; relevant experience or active credentials from recognized organizations are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses with direct and indirect patient care, including EKGs, finger-stick glucose, phlebotomy, wound care, and vital signs.
• Provide materials management and equipment maintenance per hospital policies and procedures.
• Assist with orthopedic splinting, post-suture and abrasion dressings, and correct crutch fitting.
• Support patient care from neonatal to geriatric in a fast-paced environment.
