The Valley Hospital-Paramus in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and nursing staff. Responsibilities include performing EKGs, finger sticks, phlebotomy, wound care, vital signs, and assisting with materials management as directed by the healthcare team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and either current credentialing (AAMA/NCCT/AMT/NAHP/NCMA) or enrollment in nursing with BLS within 90 days.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support to physicians and nurses.
• Assist in direct and indirect patient care including EKGs, finger sticks, phlebotomy, wound care, vitals, and materials management.
• Apply orthopedic splints, post-suture dressings, and assist with crutch fitting.
