Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• PCA/PCT diploma with 6–12 months of healthcare experience in the last 6 months.
• Enrolled in nursing school or completed Nursing Fundamentals level coursework in lieu of a diploma/certification.
• PCA/PCT, Home Health Aide or CMA experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Provides basic care to acutely ill patients.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment.
• Performs EKGs and Venipuncture as directed by the Registered Nurse.
