St. Joseph's Health is seeking a compassionate PCA/PCT to support patient care at the Paterson campus. You will assist with daily living activities and basic patient care for acutely ill individuals, while helping maintain a safe and clean environment under RN supervision.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS within 6 months, and relevant healthcare training or certification. Per diem/welcome team environment with focus on patient safety and quality care.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• PCA/PCT diploma with 6 months to 1 year healthcare experience OR CNA certification.
• Enrolled in accredited nursing program with relevant coursework or completion evidence.
• Evidence of PCA/PCT, Home Health Aide or CMA experience accepted.

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic care for acutely ill patients.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients and staff.
• Perform EKGs and Venipuncture as directed by the Registered Nurse.
