Qualifications

• Nursing Fundamentals level 1 coursework may substitute for PCA/PCT diploma.
• Completion of Nursing Assistant training program acceptable.
• PCA/PCT, Home Health Aide or CMA experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal care.
• Provide basic care to acutely ill patients as directed by RN.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
• Perform EKGs and venipuncture as directed by the Registered Nurse.

Education

PCA/PCT diploma

Nursing Fundamentals level 1 coursework

Evidence of completion in Nursing Assistant training program

PCA/PCT/Home Health Aide/CMA experience

BLS certification within 6 months of hire
