Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• Diploma/Certificate/ASSOC degree in CNA/Medical Assistant or similar program is required.
• Currently enrolled in a BSN degree with one clinical rotation completed at hire.
• One year of direct patient care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the collection and documentation of patient/family data.
• Obtain and document vital signs and notify RN of abnormal findings.
• Provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care in collaboration with the RN and patient/family.
• Collaborate with multiple RNs to prioritize workload based on patient/family needs.
• Assist in identifying patient/family response to care and contribute to the care plan.
• Maintain accountability for personal development and participate in developing others.
• Demonstrate commitment to teamwork, communication, and customer service.
• Support hospital/unit goals.
