Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and able to read, write, communicate, and understand English.
• Completion of 12 college credits -OR- High school diploma/GED with successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training or equivalent preferred.
• Able to adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, nutrition support, and comfort needs.
• Obtain and document vital signs, intake and output, and other patient information in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Support a safe patient care environment through adherence to established safety practices and protocols.
• Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team to support care delivery.
