Mayo Clinic is hiring Patient Care Assistants (PCA) to support hospitalized patients at the Rochester, Minnesota campus. You will work with nurses and healthcare professionals in a structured training program to develop essential patient care skills.

Full-time positions offer a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Training includes classroom and on-the-job learning, with no prior healthcare experience required and opportunities for guidance from experienced staff.

Formación

• Must be 18 years or older at start date.
• Ability to read, write, communicate and understand English.
• Follow written and verbal directions.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, nutrition support, and comfort needs.
• Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, and other patient information in the EHR.
• Support a safe patient care environment by following safety practices and protocols.
• Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to support care delivery.

Conocimientos

High school diploma or GED

Nursing Assistant training

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
