Job summary

Mass General Brigham is hiring a Patient Care Assistant for an onsite role at 75 Francis Street. The position supports patients with daily living activities, monitors vital signs, and assists with basic care under licensed personnel.

Required CNA/MA/EMT certification or equivalent experience; nursing students with clinical components are welcome. Bi-lingual skills and prior clinical work are preferred. Evening shift, 40 hours weekly, with a competitive sign-on bonus for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• Certification as CNA, PCT, MA, EMT or commensurate experience required.
• Nursing student with fundamentals of nursing and clinical rotation preferred.
• Bi-lingual skills preferred.
• Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• May not currently hold a valid nursing license.

Responsibilities

• Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs with accuracy.
• Completes all documentation in the medical record as required.
• Interacts with patients and families effectively.
• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating).
• Helps patients turn and reposition in bed and transfer to wheelchair as needed.
• Reports health concerns to nurses.
