Mass General Brigham is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to support post-op patients at our Charles Street location. You will assist with activities of daily living, take vitals, and help ensure comfort under licensed supervision.

The unit cares for post-anesthesia patients in a fast-paced setting; previous inpatient acute care experience is preferred, along with BLS/certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification and CMA/EMT or Nursing Assistant preferred.
• 0–1 years of patient-care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform vital signs, weights, intakes and outputs with accuracy.
• Complete documentation in the medical record.
• Interact with patients and their families effectively.
• Assist with activities of daily living and basic hygiene tasks.
• Help turn and reposition patients and assist with transfers.
• Report health concerns to the nurses.
