Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant II to provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Duties include taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and supporting safe unit operations.

This role also covers non-clinical tasks such as receptionist duties, coordinating equipment, providing transportation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience as a Nursing Assistant or as a Nursing student currently enrolled in a formal program who has completed at least one clinical rotation.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Interact with patients, families, nursing, and interdisciplinary staff to support safe unit operations.
