Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant II to provide patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will perform vital signs and assist patients with daily living activities while supporting unit operations, including receptionist duties and equipment coordination.

This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, nursing staff and other professionals, ensuring safe patient care and smooth unit

Qualifications

• Six months of experience as a Nursing Assistant or as a Nursing student currently enrolled in a formal program who has completed at least one clinical rotation or is enrolled in and completes the NWH Patient Care Assistant Training Program.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care including vital signs and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Coordinate equipment, transportation, and other unit activities.
• Perform receptionist and non-clinical tasks to support nursing and interdisciplinary staff.
