Job summary

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, SAMA certification within 90 days, and BLS, with EKG and Phlebotomy competency favored by the unit.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Licensure/Certification: SAMA certification within 90 days of hire; BLS required; other certificates as required by unit/service/clinic.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care activities under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Coordinate with charge nurse and staff nurses to meet patient care needs.
• Perform basic patient care activities and demonstrate medical terminology, communication, organization, and computer skills.
• Demonstrate personal and professional effectiveness.
