Job summary
Mass General Brigham is seeking a full-time Patient Care Assistant I (PCA) on the Phillips House 22 unit in Boston. The role requires Day/Night shifts with rotating weekend and holiday coverage, and is located at 267 Charles Street.
You will join a team delivering compassionate care to adults in Gynecology Oncology and General Surgery. Under supervision of licensed staff, you will help with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, document in the EHR, and support RNs and physicians during
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
- Experience in patient care/elder care 0-1 year preferred.
- BLS, CMA, and Nursing Assistant/PCT certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and eating.
- Take vitals including temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration.
- Document intake/output and vital signs in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Assist with admitting and discharging patients and support the care team.
