Job summary

Banner Desert Med Ctr in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant (CNA/LNA) in the General Surgery unit. You will deliver direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and support the nursing team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a CNA in state practice, BLS certification, and strong patient communication. Weekend/holiday rotations apply; full-time daytime schedule (6:00 AM–6:30 PM) with a $3,000 sign-on bonus where eligible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current CNA in state of practice preferred in AZ.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and care plans.
• Document patient data and vital signs.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Support unit operations and communication among staff.
• Keep patient records organized and updated.
