UCI Health seeks a Hospital Assistant to support direct patient care providers with safe patient handling, stocking, cleaning, and setting up of procedure rooms. You will track, deliver, clean, and perform basic repair of equipment to ensure availability and good condition when needed.

The role requires basic math, overtime availability, a minimum of six months healthcare experience, and flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical computations and ability to use general office equipment (computers, copiers, calculators).
• Must be available to work overtime as patient care needs demand.
• Minimum six months relevant experience in a healthcare environment.
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsabilités

• Assist direct patient care providers with safe patient handling, including lifting, positioning, transferring, and transporting.
• Stock, clean, and set up special procedure rooms; track and deliver equipment and supplies.
• Perform basic repair of equipment and ensure tools are available and in good condition when needed.
