Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join the on-site team at a North Shore center. You will support healthcare professionals by performing vital patient care tasks, documenting observations, and helping with daily activities and patient flow.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS, and 1–2 years of healthcare experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this 36-hour/week day shift position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred; experience valued.
• Basic medical terminology knowledge required.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a clinical setting.
• Fast, accurate typing and basic computer use skills essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care duties including vitals, EKGs, bathing and ambulation.
• Assist RNs and physicians with exams and treatments as required.
• Stock, equip, and clean patient rooms as patient volumes change.
• Collect specimens and document details per policy.
• Record patient information: height, weight, intake/output, glucose.
• Assist with food tray setup and feeding as needed.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff about patient status.
