Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support patients with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and assist with basic clinical tasks under licensed supervision. The role is based at 81 Highland Avenue and involves direct patient interaction in a fast-paced setting.

You will document measurements and fluid intake in the EHR, help with meals, transfers, and safety procedures, and aid in admitting or discharging patients while fostering a positive team environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred; degree not required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant credentials preferred.
• Experience in patient care 0–1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic care.
• Document vitals, intake/output, and glucose in the EHR.
• Support with feeding, ambulation, and personal care tasks.
• Stock and clean patient rooms; report equipment issues.
• Assist with admitting and discharging patients; promote teamwork.
