Job summary

Mass General Brigham is hiring a Patient Care Assistant to work under licensed personnel, assisting with activities of daily living and basic patient care tasks at our onsite location in Boston. The role includes vital sign checks, 1:1 patient observation, phlebotomy, and collaboration with RNs and physicians.

The position requires excellent patient service skills, ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and proficiency with electronic medical records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• BLS, CMA, CNA, and LNA certifications preferred.
• 1 year obstetrical PCA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks including vital signs, phlebotomy, and assisting with ambulation.
• Document vitals, intake/output, and medications in the EHR.
• Assist with feeding and meal setup.
• Stock and maintain patient rooms and equipment.
• Support admitting and discharging processes and orient new team members.
