Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support licensed staff in daily patient care activities at our onsite facility in Boston. You will assist with bathing, feeding, vital signs, and documentation in the EHR, while helping maintain a clean and stocked patient environment.

The role requires strong patient service skills, basic medical terminology knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Some certifications (BLS, CMA, Nursing Assistant) are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• BLS, CMA, or Nursing Assistant certifications preferred.
• 0-1 year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks and document vital signs and charts.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and daily activities.
• Support RNs and physicians with exams and treatments as needed.
• Document measurements and fluid intake/output in EHR.
• Maintain stocked, clean patient rooms and safe equipment.
