Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Patient Liaison to support delivery of medical equipment and related services to patients in hospital and home settings. You will verify insurance benefits, communicate financial responsibilities, and teach patients how to use equipment, ensuring timely, courteous service.

You will foster relationships with patients, referral sources, and hospital staff while promoting AdaptHealth products and services.

Responsibilities

• Be knowledgeable of AdaptHealth policies and procedures.
• Represent AdaptHealth professionally with patients, referral sources, and hospital staff.
• Maintain and grow revenue from hospital/facility orders.
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use and insurance eligibility.
• Coordinate insurance verification and communicate financial responsibilities.
• Process payments and obtain required signatures for paperwork.
• Ensure equipment is delivered, functioning, and documented correctly.
