Job summary

Fresenius Kidney Care, part of Fresenius Medical Care, seeks an organized receptionist to be the friendly face at the clinic front desk. You will engage patients, assist with scheduling, manage records, and coordinate admissions processes in a patient-centered environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to privacy, and teamwork among cross-functional staff to support kidney care patients and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months relevant experience without a degree.
• 1-2 years related experience preferred.
• Experience working with Word, Excel and PowerPoint is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answering telephone and routing calls to the appropriate person.
• Professionally greet all patients and guests.
• Maintain a professional environment in reception and waiting areas.
• Distribute incoming mail.
• Obtain signatures to process admissions data.
• Ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of hospitalization and patient travel for scheduling.
• Prepare medical records for travel, transplant, disability etc.
• Coordinate with Clinical Manager on transfers and admissions paperwork.
• Assist with appointment referrals, scheduling and transportation arrangements.
