Job summary

You will handle inbound and outbound calls, resolve questions, collect balances, and maintain positive relationships with patients, guarantors, and internal business office departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, call center, or healthcare billing operations.
• Quality understanding of insurance claim processing and medical billing terminology preferred.
• Proficiency with phone systems, account management software, and electronic documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Accept inbound calls from patients, physician offices, and insurance carriers to collect self-pay balances and resolve concerns promptly.
• Make outbound calls to patients, provider offices, and insurance carriers as needed to facilitate account resolution.
• Adhere strictly to all healthcare laws, regulations, and industry standards, including HIPAA guidelines and patient verification protocols.
• Maintain call quality and productivity standards while following provided scripts for consistent account resolution.
