Job summary

Randstad USA in Boise, Idaho is seeking a dedicated Patient Financial Services specialist. This role goes beyond traditional customer service, focusing on investigative problem solving to support patients with billing questions and insurance processing.

You will handle inbound calls, explain claim decisions, negotiate payment plans, and participate in a comprehensive onboarding program designed to launch a lasting career in our healthcare services group.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in patient financial services or related field.
• High School diploma required.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Take approximately 85% of your day on inbound calls from Boise and Twin Falls patients.
• Investigate how insurance claims were processed and why charges may not have been covered.
• Resolve disputes regarding insurance denials and medical coding.
• Negotiate payment plans to collect outstanding balances.
• Complete onboarding with comprehensive e-learning and instructor-led courses.

Join a premier Idaho healthcare organization as a critical problem solver in our Patient Financial Services department. This is not a traditional "Customer Service" role; our team members are investigative problem solvers. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Location: Boise, ID

Pay rate: $24-$28 per hour

Responsibilities

• Spend approximately 85% of your day taking inbound calls from patients located in Boise and Twin Falls.

• Negotiate and establish payment plans to efficiently collect outstanding balances.
• Complete an in-depth onboarding program featuring comprehensive e-learning modules and instructor-led courses.
