Responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming billing-related phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist patients with questions regarding balances, insurance claims, payments, statements, and payment plans.
• Review patient accounts and provide accurate billing information.
• Verify insurance and demographic information as needed.
• Document all patient communications and account activity in the billing system.
• Process payments received over the phone according to office procedures.
